My Grandfather just celebrated his 90th birthday. The family had a party for him up in northern Iowa with some very special guests. A couple of his cousins from Denmark made the journey to celebrate with him. The local paper covered it - you can check it out HERE.

ReplyDeleteIt is great to be able to really trace your ancestry back... and have relatives visit for the first time. Looks like you were named for a relative, but with a different spelling? Who was that?
I was named after a friend of our family. However the name Chris does run in our family.
