Oops

Last Sunday I had an embarrassing moment - I was leading into my sermon and talking about the series title, "The World's Best Sermon", but instead of saying "The World's Best Sermon", I said the world's "breast" sermon. My six year old daughter, who happened to be in the service that morning, thinks it's the funniest thing ever. She asked me when I got home, "Daddy, did you preach the world's breast sermon today?" You can hear it for yourself by following THIS LINK and catching the first few seconds of the clip "The World's Best Sermon - Week 6".

That was embarrassing; but not as embarrassing as the day my microphone was on while I went to the restroom; or the day my zipper was down while I preached. You should really be at our church each week - it's quite entertaining.

  3. I often wonder if Jesus had any embarrassing moments.

Seeing He was fully human, I'd be thinking yes.

    But...it just seems wrong...

Long live embarrassing moments, God's people should be human!

  4. PK you have never disappointed us as our Pastor. Your embarrassing moments just make me realize how blessed I am to be a part of a church that has "Nothing" to hide! Thanks for making that possible! I love belonging to a real church and not just a building.
