I'm still here

I'm still here; I haven't fallen off of the face of the earth. We have been super busy moving into our new home here in Escondido. The past couple weeks have been filled with signing papers, writing checks, purchasing items for the house, painting, minor repairs, etc... I will try to get some pictures posted on Facebook and the blog once the house doesn't look like a tornado hit it.

It's good having the family together again. Tammy and Shelby waited in Iowa with Tammy's mom for a month while I stayed with the Pinkerton's and looked for housing here in California. It's amazing to think that we closed on our home in Parker City, IN. on June 15th and in just a little over a month we are now living in our home here. That is a huge answer to prayer!

We have enjoyed taking little trips as a family to different locations close by; I think the trip to the beach was Shelby's favorite so far. Tammy's favorite has been the Ikea cinnamon rolls :)

This Monday (Aug. 2nd) James and I will be beginning a mens Bible study. The plan is to simply read through the Bible together as a group and stop every few verses and talk about what we just read. When football season begins we will have our study and then watch the game together. I'm praying that each of us we will grow spiritually, and that we will see some guys that may have been far from God grow closer to Him.
