I used to watch the Smurfs with my little sister.

  1. Smurfs - La la, La la la la, La la la la la!

Aww....I'm sure you loved it! I bet she didn't have to twist your arm to watch it!

  2. Now that was on TV down here :-) I used to own about 30 miniature smurf toys.

It was fun setting them up in the garden in battle formation and seeing the neighbour's dog rip in to them.

Gargamel freaked me out a bit when I was really young though

  4. Boy, do i have a Smurf story for all of you who are Smurf lovers.

Kris and Yvette were young. Yvette still found it easy to believe in real Smurfs.
Your family was on the way to church early one Sun. morning. We drove past my college where there was a pond. In Iowa in the winter the weather can do pretty amazing things. Somehow during the night the weather made little tiny snow balls all over the top of the frozen pond. I said with a surprised expression, "Look the Smurfs had a snow ball fight on the pond." Both kids turned to look and Yvette said, "Where are they, I don't see them. Where did they go?" I said, "They must have gone home, but it looks like they had a good time." For the longest time Yvette thought the Smurfs really lived at that pond.
I guess what we all want to know is how long did it take Kris to realize the Smurfs really didn't have a snow ball fight?
