Preaching and Bike Riding

I’m not sure if it is the same for every preacher, but for me preaching is not like riding a bike. If I take a week off I can definitely tell a difference. It takes me at least a week to get back into the swing of things. I’m just very thankful that I have a congregation that will show me a lot of grace when the sermon isn’t a “homerun”.
