God is up to something in this world and no one can stop His plans. God’s sovereignty is all encompassing; and unbelievably you and I get to be a part of what God is doing in this world! He has a plan and a purpose for our lives and if we pay attention to that plan and purpose we fit precisely into the bigger picture of what our God is doing.
Psalm 33:11, “The plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.”
Since the beginning of time God has been on the move, and generation after generation have fit perfectly into what God wanted to accomplish. The invitation goes out to you and me to join in what God is doing. You may say, “What is God up to?” God is looking to reconcile and rescue people from their sin. God has a plan and a purpose and now we get to participate in the plan; we get to play a part and we can influence generations to come.
And so from generation to generation Christian’s have been passing along the truth that God is up to something and that something is the reconciling and rescuing of mankind through Jesus Christ. Nations come and nations go, leaders have come and gone, whole cultures have disappeared, but God will not be denied He will accomplish what He has set out to do. And you and I have been invited to be a part of His multigenerational eternal plan.
