Shelby: "Daddy what is this?"
Me: *uncontrollable laughter* "What do you think it is Shelby?"
Tammy: *watching/listening in, and uncontrollable laughter*
Shelby: "I don't know what it is."
Me: "It's a face mask." *guilt set in for lying to my daughter* "It protects daddy when I used to play goalie in soccer."
Shelby: "Did it protect your knee?"
Me: "No."
Shelby: "Did it protect your elbow?"
Me: *still laughing* "No." *Tammy laughing even harder now*
What ensued was a brief discussion about boy plumbing and girl plumbing. I don't think Shelby completely understood... that's OK.
Note to self: why do I still have my cup from playing goalie in college?

ReplyDeleteHa Ha Ha LOL!!!!!! Oh my gosh that was funny. I can just see yours and Tammy's face trying to answer Shelby seriously but not able to keep from laughing!
ReplyDeleteToo funny!!! We have one of each and we are constantly changing diapers and so they see each others parts all of the time....so Madison says they other day to Parker while I am changing him....."Perrrrker, you have a cute little dingy!!!" And Parker says to her "Dingy!!!"
