Who'da Thunk It?

I was thinking about the Apostle Paul today. Paul's life is just a perfect picture of how God transforms a life. If you were to have seen Paul/Saul before his conversion and seen his intensity to kill/torture Christians you would have never thought that this guy could ever be used by God. But that's exactly what God did; after Paul's encounter with Christ this is what God said about Paul in Acts 9:15, "This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel." And all those who had known Saul previously must have said, "No way!"

What a fantastic message of God's mercy and grace. I've seen so many "unlikely" people come to know Jesus and experience the transforming power of His Spirit. I'm so thankful that same mercy and grace is extended to unlikely people like me and you.
