Where were you when the earthquake hit? If you were in bed, did you wake up?
I was in our bed, asleep - Tammy was already up (5:37 AM... she's loco). I felt the bed shake, heard the door rattle and thought, "Tammy is remodeling the stinkin' house". I convinced myself it was a dream and went back to sleep telling myself (here's where I'm a little loco) - "why don't you see if you can dream that again." Unfortunately, I couldn't re-manufacture "the dream". When I got up (at a normal hour) Tammy told me all about the BIG 5.2 earthquake... My second earthquake experienced here in Indiana. Crazy.
So where were you when the earthquake of 2008 hit?
I, too, was in bed but the movement woke me up (but not my wife). I sat up and looked around, thinking that one of my sons had just jumped on the bed or that Big "C" was shaking it for some reason. Melissa asked me what I was doing and I responded, "I think the bed was moving." I think she thought I was dreaming. We both went back to sleep. (For about fifteen minutes for me until my alarm went off.) On my way to school I called home to tell Melissa that I wasn't hallucinating and that there had been a 5.2 earthquake. It was the talk of the school today! :]
ReplyDeleteSnuggled down in my bed with the cold AC spilling down on me :0) sound asleep, had no clue what had transpired. I am a safety warden at work so I got all the updates on the after shocks! But still never felt a thing
ReplyDeleteprobably having nightmares about those awful videos I was forced to endure
ReplyDeleteI was passed out on my couch with my two year old... I felt it but again, I figured I was either dreaming (Since I'd been up all night with my 2 year old) or that Joey decided to do something to make it feel like we just shook... crazy stuff!
ReplyDeleteI was dead asleep. Didn't budge.
