(Flattering picture isn't it?) In case you were thinking of trying this to cancel out noise, like say on an airplane - don't do it; it actually amplified the noise. Good thing I told you - I would hate for you to go through all the trouble and then discover that it didn't really work.

Teacup Noise Cancellation
Shelby wanted to play in the other room without me hearing what she and her mommy were doing, so she made me wear her teacups on my ears so that I couldn't hear her. At first they weren't fitting real well so she suggested taping them to my head! Fortunately, I made them work without any adhesives being applied and I wore them for about 15 minutes and couldn't take it anymore.

Good thing you told me it doesn't work... I was actually thinking of trying it tonight to see if I could drown out Jeff's snoring. Bummer! Oh, and have fun in New Orleans... make sure to sleep in ANOTHER room seperated by sound barriers and a CEMENT wall.
