I took most of our pastoral staff on a field trip this morning. I always enjoy getting the staff out of the office and in different environments where we can bond and learn together.
This morning we headed up north to visit White's Residential & Family Services. This is one of the ministries that we support through our church. White's is doing a fantastic job of intervening in the lives of children and their families at crucial moments and giving them hope, healing, and love. We were given a great tour and met several of the students that have been impacted by the ministry of White's.
This Sunday we will have a dance team from White's performing in both of our services. I have a feeling once again we are going to be very blessed as we worship the Lord together. There is just something about interpretive dance that blesses me as I watch it.
I can't wait! That is so exciting! I sure miss having the time to do it all.. but man, I'd love to watch! :) -Mindy

ReplyDeleteJme tutored kids at White's for several months. It's a great ministry, and I'll look forward to worshiping with them in a creative way on Sunday! (assuming Jme isn't at Ball by then)
