This is a picture of the Farmland Fire Department fire trucks and police cars. They responded to a call at the church this evening. We thought we smelled an electrical fire back in the electrical room. It was a very faint smell and after lots of searching we couldn't find the source. I will be keeping an eye on one of our freezers in the meantime.This isn't the first call they have made to the church. My very first day of blogging I reported on the fire department being here - - November 14th, 2006. History repeats itself - 703 posts latter and the fire department is back at the church. Be watching for post number 1,406 and see what happens!

ReplyDeleteMy heart just dropped when I saw the fire trucks and first started reading your post.
I thought, "not OUR church!"
And watching all the flooding going on in Indiana right now...just makes you realize the old adage, "you don't know what you've got till it's gone..." could really hit close to home.
Glad it was nothing major! I saw the fire trucks from my back window! I saw no smoke so I just prayed it stayed that way!
