I really feel like we have a nice little community here in blogland so I want to catch you, my peeps, up on some things going on in my life...
I will be heading to a "specialist" for my ongoing saga of physical pain. The antibiotics that I am taking really aren't doing what we had hoped. The earliest they could schedule me is next Monday morning. I have a fantastic church family and circle of friends and relatives that are praying for me and awaiting the day that I am healed and back to "my old self". Thank you all for your prayers!
Unfortunately, this means that I won't be going on our mission trip down to New Orleans next week. I really wanted to go with our team of 17 people from the church; I'm just going to have to catch the next trip. This makes the third cancelled trip for me in 2 months :(
On a positive note: I get my wife and daughter back tomorrow. I will be picking Tammy and Shelby up from the airport early tomorrow afternoon. I have really missed them over the past 10 days.
Our dog will be so much happier to have his mommy back. He has been so lonely at the house by himself while I've been at work. The lawn will also be happy to see my wife; Tammy has picked up the lawn duties over the last couple months and with all this rain, we have a jungle in the yard. Even our two little fish have missed Tammy - I'm not the best at remembering to feed those little boogers.

ReplyDeleteJack and I are here for you in any way you need. You have our prayers and support 100%. I was so touched Sunday as people surrounded you in prayer at the altar--talk about unity!! I know in my heart God is in charge of your health and He has a plan--now if the doctors would just get on board.
