- My day started at 4:30 this morning when I got up to make my way to the church to pray for our mission team that was heading for New Orleans. I think our team is going to come back with some great stories of how God blessed them and how He blessed others through them.
- Ryan McAllister filled the pulpit for me this morning and did a fantastic job. We never miss a beat when Ryan preaches.
- I almost don't know what to do with myself on Sundays that I am not preaching.
- Nate Canady led worship this morning for the first time and did an excellent job as well.
- Our Annual Cruise-In Car Show gets bigger every year thanks to the hard work from many volunteers.
- I always go home smelling like hot dogs on Father's Day. I'm happy to help out - I think I broke a record for the number of hot dogs served (200 in just over an hour and a half).
- I sinned by coveting over a number of Camaros, Corvettes, and Mustangs. I repented and drove home in my 2002 Pontiac Grand Am.

Okay, according to my calculations that's a hot dog every 27 seconds or so. That's flinging some food, my friend. Imagine what numbers you'll be able to post when you get healthy!! Get better, brother. We're praying for you. Hopefully doctor #3 will have some answers. :-)
ReplyDeleteTodd,
ReplyDeleteThanks for doing the calculations for me. You should have seen how long the line stretched while the hotdogs were SLOWLY turning and trying to get warm. I will be better prepared next year, and yes, I will be much healthier - I expect I could serve 300 in less than two hours.
Thanks for the prayers; I appreciate it.
