From Bad to Worse

Yesterday Tammy received a summons in the mail to appear for jury duty questioning on December 3rd. None of us were looking forward to how inconvenient that would be. This morning in the mail I got the same request, same day, same time. That poses a little problem when you have a stay at home 5 year old and both of the parents are required to be somewhere else. I called the courthouse and asked them how common it was for both a husband and wife to receive a summons for the same jury. Fortunately, it's not common and I was asked which one of us wanted to show up for duty. I was tempted to throw Tammy under the bus, but like any good husband I laid down my life for my wife.

At this rate I won't be alive come December 3rd anyway. I keep getting sicker and sicker; I went to bed last night hopeful that today would be a better day and I would feel normal again. I woke up early this morning feeling worse. I have an appointment with my doctor in just a little bit and I will see what he has to say. This vacation goes from bad to worse.

  1. Vicki said-Hate to tell you but Jack and I have had it 6 weeks now and just finished my 3rd round of antibiotics. Still not back to normal--so hang in there--it is a slow moving bug.

  2. I had another prophetic dream last night. You were there and your father was there. You were sick as a dog and whining about it. Thats all I remember.

  3. Bummer way to spend vacation much less Thanksgiving. I am praying that your bug will be a FAST moving one and will have no power against the antibotics!!

  4. If I recall correctly you are an admitted "mild" hypochondriac. I think you'll still be around come Dec. 3rd because I believe that God has too many things for you to do that are yet unfinished. I'm not a prophet, it's just that Job went through a lot to prove that he was obediant and faithful to God. The infection you have may withstand the antibiotics, but it has no power over God. HIS will be done. Maybe this is another way for Satan to test you. We're praying for you to have a quick recovery and wish you and your family a very happy and restful Thanksgiving!

  5. "Thou shalt not throw others under the bus" That is a life lesson. To bad I had not learned it when I threw you under the bus at Innovate 08
