The Sticks Conference

Day 1 of The Sticks Conference is now complete. We enjoyed hearing from Mark Batterson, Barry Worcester, and Charles Hill. The folks at New Hope Community Church are very friendly and hospitable and have done a great job rolling out the red carpet for all of us. 

I failed to take notes on my computer during the sessions yesterday. If you would like a recap of what the speakers shared with us a good source is Tim Stevens LeadingSmart. I'm looking forward to Tim's talk tomorrow as well as Dwight Mason and Shannon O'Dell. I'm anxious to hear Shannon talk tomorrow; this guy is doing some amazing stuff down in Arkansas.

Oh, by the way, I keep running into folks from Iowa. Met a great pastor from Ottumwa this afternoon. Interestingly enough, Tammy lived just 20 miles down the road from there in a little town called Albia.
