Below is something that I will be sharing in the message tomorrow at church. This title of the message is 'Tis the Season... to Receive a Gift...
It is so hard to believe that God would give us a gift as great as grace and not expect us to pay Him back. It’s hard to imagine He’d send us His Son to be born and then give His life for us.
People will spend their whole lives just trying to repay Him for the gift of salvation. People will try to work and work for their salvation when that is not what God wants. He wants for us to simply receive the gift and not feel that we have to work for it.
It felt great to be back in church this morning and to hear such a wonderful message! I didn't realize just how much I had missed (and needed) to get back to church services!
