In less than a week I, and 9 others, from FFC will be on a plane heading to Jamaica to make a difference in the life of a family that desperately needs a roof over their heads. This will be my third mission trip to Jamaica, so I have some idea what to expect now, and there are so many things that I'm looking forward to.
Here is my short list: warmer weather :-), friendly Jamaicans, fantastic missionary hosts, jerk chicken, beautiful scenery, the sound of the ocean, the smiles on the faces of the family that receives a new home, sharing the love of Christ with others, watching each person on our team affected by the experience.
