Spiritual Day Off Pilgrimage - part 1

My spiritual day off has begun. The morning started off on a bad foot. I had anticipated having some of the egg souffle at Panera, but wouldn't you know it, they were out. So I had to settle for a bagel. As you can tell from my picture, I'm a little disappointed. Bagels aren't bad, but everyone knows you can't start your "spiritual day off" with just a bagel. I'm sure the day will start to take a turn for the better as I listen to my Ipod and work a little bit on the computer.

It was great having breakfast with Tammy and Shelby. They have taken off and are now on their way to Hobby Lobby to pick up some more supplies for our staff Christmas party this weekend. Here's a picture of my girls.

  1. Your "Spiritual Day Off" will not be visiting Chuck E Cheese will it? And another question whats on the IPOD just out of curiousity?

  2. chieftone,

Great questions - I might need to blog about the pod.

No Chuck E Cheese today. Although now that you mentioned it I wouldn't mind playing a little pin ball over there. They might look at me a little strange coming in with no kids though.

This morning I was listening to the "RELEVANT" podcast - from the makers of Relevant Magazine. I also was listening to some songs from "Consumed" put out by LifeChurch.tv; they had some great tunes.

Last night I finished up a video episode I downloaded for free! from Itunes. It's called "One Punk Under God". It is about Jay Bakker, the son of Jim & Tammy Bakker and it's a look at his life as he attempts to get his church (Revolution) planted.
