There seemed to be a lot of people at church yesterday. I'm not exactly sure why we had an upserge in attendance. I have a theory though; would like you like to know what it is? I think we had more people in church because of the title of the sermon. From time to time we put the title of the series that we are doing on the church sign outside and we've got it posted on the front page of our website. The title for the message yesterday was "Straight Talk". My theory is, people were expecting me to preach on homosexuality and wondered how controversial it would get. What they ended up with was just some straight talk from the pastors on staff.
... It's just a theory. It was nice to see so many folks at church yesterday though.
