The Truth (part 4)

You know the moment; it’s the moment that temptation is tugging on you, staring you square in the eyes, calling to you. At that moment you need to remember that truth is always an option. When the temptation comes your way you say, “God show me truth”, and generally the advice is “turn around, call a friend, change the channel, run toward the door.”

There is a way out through every temptation; God will always make a way of escape… go for the door. God will not pick you up and carry you to the door. You have to step into the truth. You cannot wait for God to pick you up and shove you through the door. The way out has been provided, the move toward that door is yours to make.

1 Cor. 10:13, “…God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.”

Go for the door.
