This evening I spent a little bit of time putting pen to paper and started dreaming about the future of the church - I mean big dreaming. At moments I caught myself thinking, "I don't know that this could happen here." I pushed through thoughts like that and kept dreaming, it was a lot of fun just to dream big and let my faith build.
I began to envision environments within the church where people were being challenged by God's Word creatively, environments where people were interacting with one another, I could picture smiles on faces, laughter in hallways, and children playing. It made me long for what I was putting on paper and I could see it happening...
We serve a big God who can make the impossible possible. I have no doubt that He will allow the dreams and visions He's placed in my Spirit to happen.
Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
I believe Perry Noble said it best in one of his blogs "You can't outdream God."
