Tomorrow night is a very important night in the life of our church. Tomorrow evening many of the leaders of the church will be gathering to make their three-year pledges toward our Building to Bless...Another Generation effort. I've been looking forward to this time for many months now. I'm anticipating a great evening, with some wonderful people, and for God to just amaze us with the way that our leaders will step up and sacrifice to bless the next generation.
This has been a challenging and stressful time for so many in our church. It seems that any time we try to advance The Kingdom the enemy is just around the corner doing his best to distract and discourage. I'm confident that by the end of this campaign we will look back and the only thing we will be able to say is "only God". "Only God could have done something so amazing at Farmland Friends church!"
I'm pumped about the worship. Sacrifice is worship, worship is sacrifice, and a lot of people will be making a huge commitment... letting go of their cash. I think this will really open up some hearts to truly worship God in spirit and in truth. I personally feel a closeness to God every time I think about turning in my commitment card. Can't wait!!
