Delivery Day

When I arrived at church today I was pleased to see that our first semi loads of steel have arrived for our new building. It won't be long and we will be seeing kids and adults enjoying the activity space and people being blessed through our new outreach center!

  2. Mike,

It is cold to be building, but you need to understand, people around here are nuts! It must have been in the low 30's today, and accross from the church I saw a crew tearing off and replacing shingles on a roof. But before they could do that, they had to shovel the snow off of the roof!

The nice thing about hiring crews in the winter is that the bids are lower and you can save money. ;-)

Fortunately, our concrete for the footers had been poured before the weather turned cold. So there shouldn't be any major snags as long as people don't lick the metal in this cold weather... maybe I'll triple dog dare somebody to do that ;-)
