Our daughter, Shelby, was a little under the weather yesterday - by a little under the weather I mean 'yaking'. Today Shelby was feeling much better. There has been a lot of sickness going around in our communities the past couple of weeks (check out Tonya's blog). Interestingly enough, it was last year at this time that I was sick with flu-like symptoms. I'm not interested in repeating history so I have been doing a lot of praying that I stay healthy.
I was healthy enough today to preach at our Saturday evening service and Lord willing, I will be able to preach both services tomorrow. Don't be offended if I don't shake your hand at service tomorrow, I'm just looking out for the both of us. I have this feeling that if I can make it through tomorrow and get to the airplane Monday morning that while I'm in Florida all will be well.
