Here's a video clip from last nights HGTV Dream Home Giveaway. Tammy got a 25 minute speech from me last night when I watched this ladies reaction. I know everyone respond differently - I just don't think I know very many people that would respond the way this lady did.
As I started to think about my reaction to her response, I started wondering about how I respond to the blessings of God in my life. Too often I think I don't express my gratitude appropriately. I wonder if God is a little disappointed with us when we respond so nonchalantly to the blessing of His grace?
How would you react if you just won a home worth 2.2 million dollars?
maybe the fl. weather will help her get over the dry scalp issue. we do know that Ia. can produce a dry affect.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what God thinks of judging other people? Give me a break. She was crying at one point. Don't you think that means she was thankful? Ease up on the judging.

ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. As I re-read my post I realized it did sound like I was judging her harshly, so I've clarified some of my incomplete thoughts(revised 3/18 4:45 p.m.).
Well I wouldn't act much different knowing that God gave me the gift to give to others. I would sell the status symble home. I know down the road the up keep taxes, and utility bills would finally take the home from me. Besides I am already a status symble, giving to me from God. Oooops that was 30 years ago. lol But not to God, I am still one. Also I would provide the ham for Clyde to provide him a break with my 6.6 million. Such a hard question to answer. lol

ReplyDeleteI also believe that was an ODD reaction!! Not to sure if she was just nervous or what, but it was weird and a little uncomfortable to watch. I just wonder what that announcer was thinking.....AWKWARD!!!
