Flying Hamsters & Free Coffee

Last week I posted a challenge, I challenged anyone to beat my "flight of the hamster score". If you beat me and you live in this area (Indiana) I would have some java with ya', if you live away from here I would mail you a Starbucks card for a free drink.

Either the score is too difficult to beat - or no one wants to have a cup of coffee with me - or you all have lives and wouldn't waste it on smacking make-believe hamsters through the air. (Most likely you all have lives and would prefer not to have a drink with me :-)

Here's what we are going to do, since the score is pretty tough to beat, we will say the highest score posted wins. Competition ends July 31 at midnight. Be sure to take a picture of your best score and post it to your blog or you can email me your picture if you don't have a blog of your own.

It's fair game - everyone starts at zero - someone is going to be a winner receiving bragging rights and some free coffee. Go my friends fly like the eagles...

  1. This makes me very happy and has even given a boost to my self esteem! No matter how hard I try...I just can't beat your score. BTW: Have you written a program to win at this game? ha I'll start trying again real soon!!

BTW: Every post I read that refers to "PK" (you) I get a little giggle. We used to call Pizza King "PK" growing up and every time I see your name, I think Pizza King first! ha

  2. Audra -

    Good luck with the contest.

Re: PK - do you picture me with a crown, holding a pizza?

  3. Actually, in these parts...that would be Mr. Pizza. COMPLETELY different, or not. =)

BTW2: How do I post pics in comments?

  4. Audra,

As far as I know I don't think you can place a picture in comments. If you post a pic it would be on your blog. If you prefer not to stoop to such childish posts :-) you could always email the picture to me.

I will be interested to see your score - hopefully this will pull others out and get the competition rolling. So far you are the only one with some real guts! ;-)

  5. I can't get past 448. When I first started off, I was all into it and was like, Dude, I'm so gonna get Pastor Kris and beat him, and then I couldn't even pass the 500 mark. So disappointing.

  6. Coby,

Be sure to get a screen capture or picture of your high score and post it on your blog or email it to me. You never know, you could pull out the win!

  8. i also want to add that when you take a pic of the computer screen straight on there is a glare. i'm not implying anything, but that is an awful clear pic...

  9. Emily, try just doing a screen capture. You won't have to worry about screen glare!! =)

  10. The Ville does not have a St. Arbucks. However, we have a Brian's, which serves great coffee and has amazing brownies. The closest St. A is in Richmond or Greensburg.

    Off to fling hamsters!
