This weekend myself and a number of men from our church will be embarking on a men's retreat called "Man Up". Brent Smith and Nate Canady have put a lot of time and creativity into the weekend and I'm looking forward to hanging out with a bunch of great guys.
I'm sure there will be plenty of belching, scratching, and shooting of guns; but I'm also anticipating that through the worship, Bible study, and personal time with the Lord that many of the families in our church will be positively impacted.
I will have to leave Saturday evening in order to get back to preach on Sunday. (Side note - don't forget to bring your Bibles AND your cell phones to church this Sunday for the beginning of our "TXT" series)
Sounds like hanging with the guys from my church. Scratching, belching and the main course...the SHOOTING OF GUNS! Must be a guy thing. :-)
