Wisdom Part 2


In the last post I talked about the "little defense attorney" that we have on the inside of all of us. Here is our default mode when making decisions; we ask things like, "is it legal, is everybody else doing it, is it moral, is there a verse against it, does it feel right, where's the edge, how far is too far?..."

The better question to ask is: "What is the wise thing to do?" What is the wise thing to do considering your past experiences, your current circumstances, and your future hopes and dreams?

"Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise" Ephesians 5:15a
