Linkabalooza

Tomorrow is my "spiritual day off". I get one day a month where I can just get away from the office and recharge. So tomorrow I'm going to take Tammy and Shelby out for breakfast and then I'll spend some time at Starbucks and do some writing, reading, and dreaming. I love my spiritual day off because I get a good sense of where God would like to take our congregation next.

If I get a chance I'll take Tammy's laptop and try to do a blog from the coffee shop and fill you in on some of my thoughts and the happenings of the big "spiritual day off".

For the rest of this post I want to attach some links that I found this week that either inspired me or made me laugh. So for your time wasting enjoyment I present to you "linkabalooza"...

I "elfed' myself earlier this week you can check it out HERE; I hope it works they were having some technical difficulties earlier this week. I first ran across this on Scott Hodge's blog. You can elf yourself at this site - www.elfyourself.com

I had some stress relief moments at this website... don't shoot you're eye out. By the way I read in the newspaper the other day that the 1983 "A Christmas Story" has surpassed "It's a Wonderful Life" as the most popular Christmas movie.

"The Miniature Earth" is a very thought provoking video, you can check it out HERE; be sure to click on the play button in the bottom left of the screen.

Ben Arment has a great blog, you should check him out some time. I was in his blog neighborhood the other day and laughed myself silly. I read Ben's post on "Constipated Churches" and then watched the youtube video clip that Eric posted; I literally had tears in my eyes. If you go to that article you'll notice I posted a comment... after reading Ben's post on Constipated Churches click on the link that Eric posted to youtube.

Well that's enough links for one night. Lord willing, I'll blog tomorrow from Starbucks , buzzed while I'm sipping down my peppermint mocha latte.
