The LA Times is going to be doing an article tomorrow on churches that are canceling their Super Bow_ parties (oops almost wrote that whole trademark out - yeah I'm still a little annoyed). You say, "Kris, how do you know what the LA Times is writing tomorrow?" Because a reporter from the Times called the church today to interview someone in the know. They wanted to speak with our Outreach Pastor, Jeff Pfohl, but Jeff was out of the office so Jenny Lee (Bookkepper/Secretary) shared a few thoughts with the reporter.
That is so stinkin' sweeeet! The LA Times called the Farmland Friends Church (FFC) and we may make their article. Even if they just mention our churches name that's excititng. When you live in the middle of farm country with maybe 1,700 people in your town - this is big news. The LA Times must have picked the story up from The Star Press out of Muncie, IN. The Star will be running an article too tomorrow, I've been told.
