This afternoon a few of us pastors took some time out to have some fun. Pastor Marggy (Pastor of Administration) and I took on Bryan Vickery (Youth Pastor) in a video game. Not just any video game; NBA 2K7 on the Playstation 3. I would love to be able to tell you that Pastor Marggy and I dominated but that would be a lie. Heavy B beat us by 11 points.
I love having staff to bond with. Marggy and I are formulating some plans to take a "mini" pastoral staff retreat latter this spring. I think it is crucial that our team be able to get along and enjoy one another beyond just the typical ministry moments (even if it means I get beat in NBA 2K7) =)
