This evening I’m staying at home and watching a couple of movies. I just finished watching “The Kingdom of Heaven.” I picked it up because it said “kingdom” and “heaven” – my mistake. I generally rate movies based on how much I paid to see it (that’s my cheapskate coming out). This movie was almost the dollar I paid to rent it. I don’t recommend it – save your dollar and buy a bottle of water.
Next up – “The Departed”; I figured if it won the academy award for best picture I’d find out what all the fuss was about. I'll see if I get my $2.50 worth :-)
It could have been worse. You could have spent THREE HOURS of your life watching ZODIAC. Uggh! I think it was one of those things where everyone in the theater is thinking, "Should we get up and go now?" And they look around to see if anyone else is thinking the same thing... but no one had the courage to get up and leave in the middle of the movie.
