Cold Weary Travelers

Every year at about this time our home becomes a haven for some cold travelers. Our home is right next to Bob Chalfant's field and when he brings the crops in during the fall all the little mice say, "Wow, it's kind of cold and lonely out here. Hey, why don't we head over to the Sorensen's place." All the little mice friends say, "Yeah, let's do it! I love the Sorensen's; they've got all that nice insulation in the attic". And so the march of the mice begins and we are stop number one in their journey for warmth. Unfortunately for the mice, Mr. Sorensen (that's me) isn't all that fond of cold weary travelers and their first stop becomes their last. (Que the sadistic laughter)

So far it's Mr. Sorensen 2 - warm mice in my attic 0

Just don't tell my wife that I caught 2 mice in the attic (Mrs. Sorensen hates mice). Come to think of it - she'll discover we had mice as soon as she reads this blog post... you can go ahead and tell her if you want.

  1. Just keep them in your neck of the woods Mr. Sorense! I left my cold weary travelers in Muncie by the fields that surrounded our old trailer... NO MORE MICE!
