Ever since James first fixed his chicken tacos for me on August 21st, 2007 I've been wanting them again. Tonight my wish came true and James made chicken tacos for our entire growth group! This was truly a labor of love, as it took James an hour and a half to prepare the shells for the tacos (the shells are the key ingredient).
I was polite and only ate 2 chicken tacos during our meal. To my surprise there were shells left over and after everyone had left James proceeded to throw the shells in my trash can?!? I stood in disbelief, my mouth wide open, I couldn't even speak, I couldn't believe my eyes; how could he just throw them in the garbage can?!? ... I said nothing, we said our goodbyes at the door and then I... I... I... is it wrong that I dug the shells out of the trash and ate 2 more?
GROSS!!!! THAT'S CONSIDERED UNDER.... YOU NEED HELP MY FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteJames has committed a HUGE party foul. You do not throw away perfectly good food during times like these. Actions need to be taken. As far as digging them out, I know they are good but this may be a double penalty.
ReplyDeleteAnd you made a comment before about your wife double dipping???? I am not sure how you can think double dipping is horrible if you are going to be digging food out of the trash...
ReplyDeleteYes I agree with Carrie. You need to lay off your wife and the double dipping if your going to dip into the trash for food. How pathetic! But I will say this, the chicken tacos are THAT good!
ReplyDeleteMindy,
ReplyDeleteI think I need help too. Admitting I need help has to be the first step.
Derek,
How many yards exactly is this penalty worth... because I really like James' chicken tacos. I'd take a penalty of 20-30 yards and not even care.
Cari,
I didn't double dip in the trash can. These were first "dibs" out of the trash. I have standards you know :-)
Tonya,
Please try to convince James never to throw away the shells for the chicken tacos again. Oh - and if you find them in your trash at home could you dig them out for me?
I am sure, James has committed a Party Foul (15 yards and hit him with a snow ball). Kris if the Chicken Tacos are that good. I think that you have recovered a fumble. No Penalty. As far as the trash recovery and double dipping. Trash recovery depends on the time that the trash bag has been in service 2 hours or less I don't see a problem. Double dipping on the other hand is wrong in all 50 states and most third world countries. I still think that James will need to fix Chicken Tacos for me to make a final ruling.
ReplyDeleteThe only way to know if any violations have occurred is to sample the infamous chicken taco. Being a former referee and current health official a sample of the product is needed for "official testing."
ReplyDeleteAfter further review it has been decided that there will be no penalty on PK for trash picking (for the deliciousness of said tacos). Pink will be charged with making more chicken tacos for those of us in this discussion.
ReplyDeleteWas anyone in good enough position to throw the flag on Kris? In any case, I'm not sure this one is reviewable... but Pink can expect a hefty fine from the league office for his actions.
ReplyDeleteLooking over these comments clearly shows that the men are in my camp while the ladies really don't understand the length to which the men will go for good food.
ReplyDeletePook! You didn't!
ReplyDeleteVon... a.k.a Mommy
ReplyDeleteI did!
I think the "Pook" comment from von... aka mommy is the best!!! I agree pook... LISTEN TO YOUR MOMMY!
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't you just ask James for them? This reminds me of george on sinfeild when he eat the eclair out of the trash.
ReplyDeleteLet's set this record straight! If anyone is going to give me a penalty then they will never receive "said tacos". I have my limits. It is the creator's choice as to what to do with the creation and I used that license to throw away cold taco shells. I then washed the pan they were sitting in. You have to admit that that was pretty swell of me. I have always like the "Pook" nickname but I also like "Pookie" a little bit more, you can also call him "Dad" (he was my dorm dad).
ReplyDeletePink,
ReplyDeleteI prefer spelling 'pookie' - Pooky... personal preference, thanks pal. (Like all my 'p' words? Did I ever tell you that I think you're one person who's got panache?)
pooky, you and james are so cuuute!!!!
ReplyDeletelove and miss you both,
