By the time I got up we had only had maybe 3 inches of snow. The only problem was I forgot to pray that the wind wouldn't blow a billion miles per hour!! Had it not been for the strong winds I think we would have had church today. Oh well, there's always next weekend.

The Moses Effect
Unfortunately we had to cancel both of our services today. Earlier in the morning it looked like we were going to be able to make it. From the way it sounded Saturday night we would be seeing over 10 inches of snow and a huge mess of ice this morning (Sunday). When I got up (5:30 a.m.) everything actually looked really good and I'll tell you why... remember me saying that I was praying "that the storm parts like the red sea around Farmland, Indiana ;-)" Well at 2:59 a.m. it did exactly that, here's the proof...

Be forewarned! My daughter has been praying for more all morning! Ha! I'm hoping she'll be satisfied with what we have and this will remain an unasnwered prayer until some of this goes away.
ReplyDeleteI think that God was giving you a day to rest. It's not like you have not earned it.
