Don't get me wrong snow can be pretty, just not on Sundays. Tomorrow morning I'll be up very early (along with some other leaders in the church) checking the weather conditions and roads to determine if we should cancel church or not. If your church home is FFC you can check the website, the major TV networks, and local radio stations for cancellations. It's going to have to be pretty bad for us to cancel church completely. No matter what, use your best judgment in getting out tomorrow in the snow. I'm still praying for a miracle.9:45 p.m. update.... Pastor Marggy just called me and mentioned all of our passwords for the TV stations are outdated so we are in the process of faxing them to get new codes/passwords; so your best bet for checking cancellations at this point is the website or maybe even the answering machine at the church. I also know that WLBC 104.1 will take our cancellation by email so we would get it on there. I'm in the process of checking the other radio stations in the area.
11:30 p.m. update.... If we cancel at this point the only code we have is for WRTV channel 6 - so if you are looking for cancellations while watching TV you may want to have on channel 6.
hey, you should have gone with that website idea!!!! Come on now! We could all watch live from home... You could have a live feed at your house and preach from there! =)
ReplyDeleteMy flannel pj's, slippers, coffee cup, and bed head... we are a very casual church ;-)
ReplyDeleteSounds great! I think you should go for it! =) Make sure it is hot chocolate in that coffee cup... I'm anti coffee! =)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a snow day today!! Hope you were able to enjoy the day hangin with your fam! Post some pics of your storm!
ReplyDeleteTricia,
ReplyDeleteSorry - I don't have any pictures from the storm. I was too depressed to take any. :-)
It was nice to just hang out at home though. I imagine you guys see your fair share of snow there in Colorado.
