If man is ever going to invent a time machine, wouldn't we be seeing people from the future by now?
Why do I have a hot water heater when I don't need to heat hot water?
If buttered toast always lands face down and a cat always lands on it's feet, what would happen if you tied a piece of buttered toast on the back of a cat?
The answer to the cat question is. That the cat would land on its side. During the fall the cat would be so bothered by the toast it would forget about the fall allowing the cat and toast to land on their sides. Or at least it sounds good to me.
You know what it's like being a pastor at this time of year ;-) I'm sure you could use some time off too. How about we swap - I'll vacation down in Texas and you can come to beautiful Farmland, Indiana - bring your winter coat ;-)

ReplyDeleteI think someone needs a vacation.
ReplyDeleteBrian,
ReplyDeleteInteresting hypothesis. I think we should try it - do you have a cat?
Rick,
I think your right - a little vacation never hurt anyone ;-)
i like toast, but not cats... so either way i win.
ReplyDeleteif the cat lands on its feet, breakfast is preserved, and i don't have to go to wal-mart to get more cereal tonight.
if the cat lands on its back, i may lose my breakfast, but at least... never mind... PETA is probably monitoring your blog...
I'm with Rick. =) Get some rest PK! =)
ReplyDeleteOh, Vickery... you better join him! That was pretty twisted! You best watch yourself... baby is coming!
ReplyDeleteSorry Kris I do not have a cat. I have a 185lbs Saint Bernard are you game?
ReplyDeleteI'm with Rick....I think there's a vacation in the wings....or maybe a little boredom?
ReplyDeleteBrian,
ReplyDeleteForget the toast, we could probably strap a car to your Saint Bernard and he would land on his feet!!
