This Easter I will be tackling the topic of temptation in a series called "Wait". I'm excited about the possibilities; I believe that as a result of these messages individuals will have the practical and scriptural tools they need to overcome temptation. Using the example of Christ's temptation in Matthew 4 we will unpack the truth that there is always more at stake than the immediate temptation in front of us.I've been working on a blog/website to be used as a resource for this series. The goal is to give people resources, scriptures, and practical help in overcoming temptation. Head on over and check it out; if you have any thoughts or recommendations regarding the website be sure to let me know. http://www.simplywait.com/
The website is great! Awesome idea! It reminds of the "Stop, Think, Act" therapy method we use at work with our residents. Unfortunately, it's easier to teach than to implement in my own life :-) I am looking forward to this series!
