I took this photo at 9:00 a.m. There is about 2 foot from the ground to the bottom of this patior door so this is almost a 5 foot tall drift.
The snow is still coming down and the wind is blowing nice and hard still. I used to live for days like this when I was a kid. I would pray for blizzards so I wouldn't have to go to school. Unfortunately, we always had to make up the snow days in the spring. There always seems to be a balance between work and play.
I still enjoy a good blizzard (althogh I don't pray for them to occur anymore). In just a little bit I'll get the joy of going out and shoveling the drive way (work) and even though I didn't go into the office today I still needed to get my work done... Wait a minute - where'd the play go?
I decided to try to make it to work this morning at BMH and I made it!!!! Now I can't get home sooooooo I am working 16 hours crashing in a hospital bed for about 4 or 5 hours and getting up to work 6 hours more. Lots of people called in.

I thought I would be real constructive having a chance to get all of the things done that I never have time to do---NOT!! Did you know a person can watch "The Andy Griffith Show" almost any time of the day!!? Wow!! What a great discovery!! They sing lots of country music on that show--bet you watch it all of the time too!!
ReplyDeleteDr Phil & Oprah were a hoot too!!Jenny
Karla,
ReplyDeleteThanks for going above the call of duty and keeping our community healthy at the hospital.
Jenny,
I used to watch Andy G all the time. I try to block out the country music from my mind though =)
