Faith Stretching

I love it when people step outside of their comfort zone and stretch their faith. This week the award for faith stretching goes to Kimberly. Kim attends our growth group that has been meeting in our home; normally Aaron leads and does a fantastic job. However, this last Sunday both Aaron and I couldn’t be at growth group so we had to enlist a brave volunteer to lead the group. Kimberly stepped up to the plate and I hear that she did a great job. I know she was super nervous but she did it afraid, and God smiled. Kimberly took another step of faith the other night and let the Media Team at church interview her on camera for an upcoming video testimony. If all goes according to plan not only will Kim be blessed this Sunday but so will many others in our congregation. I’m so proud of Kimberly and her husband Nathan; I’ve seen them both grow a lot over the last year.

Where could you step out on faith this week and be a blessing to others and in turn be blessed yourself? Why not try something new this week and step out of your comfort zone. When you surrender to the Lord and make yourself available to Him there’s no telling how many lives you could touch.
