I try not to listen in on other people's conversations; but there are folks that talk so loud you can't help but hear what they are saying. Today I slipped into Starbucks and overheard a young lady say, "I want to be a hippie so bad - I just don't want to give up my materialism... Yeah, I'm a 'maximulist'." ("coined" word for the day)
I love honest people; and now I have a brand new word for my vocabulary.
This woman is not alone. When we're laying in bed at night and we're completely honest with ourselves, many of us have an intense desire to be hippies.
