Recap

I thought I’d recap just some of my day.

Started the day with a new attitude, determined to enjoy myself no matter what came my way.
Met our Gideon speaker at the church early this morning (a very nice gentleman who shared with our congregation about this great organization.)
Interacted with and thanked several volunteers around the church.
Preached the 8:30 service.
Joked around with and laughed with numerous people between services.
Readied the prop once again for the 10:30 service.
Copied some DVD’s of previous services to pass out to some individuals.
Had prayer with the 10:30 worship team.
Preached the 10:30 service.
Had a brief chat with a very interesting new believer following the 10:30 service (I’ve got to hear more of this man’s story).
Prayed for the healing of a young boy who has an abnormal growth on his brain.
Had lunch with a small group of people who had signed up for CLASS 201. (Great food; thanks Ann, I loved the dirt pudding served in the flower pot! =).
Taught CLASS 201 (Discovering Spiritual Maturity Class).
Came home - took a quick nap.
Played some games with Shelby.
Got a hair cut before our growth group (Thanks Kimberly, I’m now officially ready for my vacation to Florida =).
Growth group met at 6:30 p.m. – always a great time with the folks I get “to do life” with.
Took a quick jog.
Sat outside and spent some time praying and enjoying the beautiful moon this evening.
Showered.
