Here's the Scoop

Here's the BIG news that I've been wanting to share on my blog for several months now... our church is going to build again! We are going to do a major remodel on some of our current structure and add more space. In order to accomplish this task we are going to begin a campaign that we are calling, "Building to Bless - Another Generation". The remodeled and added structures will give us much needed space to provide ministries for our children and youth ministries. This addition will effect several ministries within the church: nursery, Little KidZone, Big KidZone, and the Youth Group. Added office space will be made, an Outreach Center will be constructed as well as a multipurpose space for meals and activities such as basketball and volleyball. (Maybe a little dodgeball too :-)

Beyond raising dollars and adding on space this will be a spiritual journey for our congregation and we will all grow as our faith is stretched and as we watch God do some amazing things among us. I'm excited that the leadership of the church has the vision to not be content or complacent and will step out in faith and attempt big things for God. I truly believe that adding this space at this time will position our congregation in such a way to minister to more people and see lives changed by the power of Jesus Christ - which is what this is all about ... this should be an awesome ride!
