Today for my day off we headed over to Memorial Park in New Castle and enjoyed a picnic (see below for my rant). The park had a lot of shelters, walking trails, and courts to choose from. Tammy snapped some pictures of Shelby that I thought I'd share...
For the life of me, I can't figure out why Muncie, Indiana can't get a decent and safe park. I've seen smaller towns with nicer parks. Fortunately, New Castle is a nice enough park and it is only a half hour drive away, but at some point you get tired of driving to other towns/cities to get to family friendly spots. OK, that's enough of my opinion about Muncie... for now.
I know it's more of a drive, but you should take her to Greenville some time. They have a much nicer park, and you can feed the swarming geese!
