Marggy Hensley is our Pastor of Administration at FFC. Marggy is such a blessing to me - she takes a lot of the administrative duties off of my plate, which allows me to focus a lot more on the messages. Here is my interview with Marggy...
Me: How long have you worked at FFC now?
Marggy: It will be one year this month (October)
Me: Where did you work before?
Marggy: First Merchants Bank, In Muncie I worked at the bank for 9 years many of which were in the Commercial Loan Department, where business loans are made. My position was as administrative assistant to the head of the department.
Me: What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Marggy: Reading, gardening (I call it playing in the dirt) and crocheting.
Me: Have you always lived in Indiana?
Marggy: Yes all of my life. I grew up in Royerton and attended Delta schools all 12 years. My dad still lives in the same home I grew up in.
Me: If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
Marggy: I would love to go on a mission’s trip anywhere outside the US. This is something I have wanted to do for years and am praying that God will make a way for me to go soon.
I hear others talk about how a mission’s trip changed them forever. It seems to help people appreciate all the blessings that God has given them so much more and others have talked about how they think less of themselves and more about others after a mission’s trip. I would love to have the experience of a mission’s trip and know that I always have room to grow into Christ’s likeness.
Me: Do you know any good jokes?
Marggy: Why did the boy throw the butter out of the window? Because he wanted to see the butterfly (It is a joke but I am not sure if it is a good one.)
