An Interview With: James Pinkerton

James Pinkerton is our Youth Pastor at FFC. Many of the students call him "Pastor Pink". It's been really good reconnecting with James, we have a good time sharing stories from college and making one another laugh... sometimes we cry, but that's only becuase we've been laughing so hard. Here's my interview with James.

Me: How long have you worked at FFC now?
James: About 3 months now.

Me: What can you tell us about your family?
James: I have two kids who like to have people play with them ALL THE TIME! My wife and I like movies, clean TV shows, music (especially Christian Worship), and just spending time together.

Me: Do you have any hobbies or sports you enjoy?
James: Fantasy Football, Golf, Coaching, Bible Reading, spending time with students, playing Wii, and blogging.

Me: What are some of your dream/goals for the youth ministry at FFC?
James: To have students continually come and ask me how to know God better. To have more and more students wanting to teshuva to God. To have students want to be at youth group and at our events more than anything else because this is where they experience God. I would like God to bless us with 150 students in the youth ministry groups by June 2008.

Me: What are some of your favorite movies or TV shows?
James: I like American Idol (Er, Americas best singer show), So You Think You Can Dance, Journeyman (reminds me of Quantum Leap), Lost, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Chariots of Fire, Tombstone (“Why Ike, whatever do you mean?)

Me: Would you make me chicken tacos again sometime soon?
James: I would like to make you some Chicken Tacos and then go into the living room and play Tiger Woods 2008 on the Wii very soon!
