I didn't get a chance to blog yesterday evening so let me just fill you in on a few of the things that impressed me on the last day of Catalyst.
The worship: these guys can rock! Steve Fee did a great job of leading worship! I sang so loud I nearly lost my voice. The energy in the place was amazing.
Craig Groeschel spoke passionately about "practical atheism", believing that there is a God but not living like He exists. Craig's transparency as a pastor is inspiring.
Dave Ramsey spoke about stewardship/management and the power of being debt free. His concluding video choked me up big time.
I broke another record Friday morning... we broke the record for breaking records. Everyone had a "45" vinyl record and we all broke them in half at the same time. We broke the record for breaking records ;-)
Wintley Phipps brought the house down when he sang Amazing Grace. You can check him out here on YouTube (I think this clip is from a Gaither Homecoming video).
I always love listening to Andy Stanley..... even if I've heard the same message 5 times about "systems".
I had a great time hanging out with Marggy, James, Anne Pinkerton (James' sister), and Matt Nash (good friend of James & Anne).
Catalyst did exactly what I had prayed it would; I came away challenged, inspired, refreshed and recharged!!
